The generator outputs three-phase 220V, meaning the voltage between L1, L2, and L3 is 220V. The voltage between L and N is 110V. The electrical appliances require 220V single-phase power; what is the correct wiring method? Some people say that it is sufficient to connect any two of the L1, L2, L3 live wires to the electrical equipment; in other words, there is no true neutral wire in practice. The neutral wire is also charged. That is, the voltage between L and N is 220V. The voltage between L and PE is 110V, and the voltage between N and PE is 110V. Will this wiring method have an impact on the use of electrical appliances such as single-phase 220V air conditioners? There is another question: can the lights also be connected using any two of the live wires from L1, L2, and L3?
This is interesting. I think the lights can be used, but first it’s necessary to determine the purpose of the neutral wire in other devices; it’s best to use an isolation transformer.
