Dear sea friends: Good afternoon. During an external inspection, the experts said that our filters should be electrically grounded in accordance with clause 9.9.3 of the Petrochemical Regulations ； We took a look at this provision, and it is indeed the case. However, there are many terms related to static grounding and static bonding. We would like to address all the safety measures related to static electricity in one go. Could everyone please advise us: 1. What are the standards and specifications for static grounding and static bonding? 2. Under what circumstances should static grounding and static bonding be performed? 3. What are the methods for static grounding and static bonding? I would appreciate your advice.

Generally, for valves and flanges on pipelines carrying combustible materials, the transition resistance is required to be less than 0.03 ohms. At points where pipelines intersect, this value should be less than 10 cm; when pipelines enter or exit a building, parallel pipelines should also be kept at a distance of less than 10 cm from each other.
