What documents are required to apply for explosion-proof certification? 1. Product drawings and documents: product electrical schematic diagrams, assembly diagrams, PCB diagrams, component layout diagrams, bill of materials (BOM), nameplate diagrams, etc. 2. Copy of the business license of the applying enterprise. 3. Enterprise standards and instructions that meet intrinsically safe explosion-proof requirements. 4. Other documents: (1) If the sample uses sealing rings for connection, seals of various specifications related to the sample must be provided; (2) if the sample contains components that are sealed with glue, both the glued and unglued components must be submitted; (3) if the sample’s casing and components are made of rubber material, 3–5 rubber blocks measuring 35mm×15mm×6mm must be provided for rubber material aging tests. (4) If the sample’s casing or components are made of plastic, 3 to 5 rectangular plastic blocks measuring 150mm×60mm must be provided to determine the surface resistance of the casing. (5) If the sample enclosure is made of a non-metallic material, samples that meet the following specifications must be provided: a length of 125 mm ± 5 mm and a width of 13.0 mm ± 0.5 mm. The minimum and maximum thicknesses must also be specified, with the thickness not exceeding 13.0 mm. The edges must be smooth, and the radius of any rounded corners must not be greater than 1.3 mm, in order to conduct the flame retardancy test on the enclosure. (6) If the sample contains transparent parts with observation windows, separate samples must be provided. (7) For those for which a sealing test of the introduction device on the enclosure cannot be carried out, the testing center must provide the test fixtures. (8) For portable intrinsically safe products that contain batteries, 10 battery samples are required. (9) For samples that need to be used in conjunction with associated equipment (such as intrinsically safe power supplies), those associated devices must also be submitted along with the sample. (10) If EX components are included, an explosion-proof certification for those EX components must be provided
