Is this technology currently in use? What are the raw materials, and what are the products? Could you provide a comparison between the traditional hydrogenation technique and the current fluidized-bed hydrogenation method?

The two largest fluidized-bed hydrogenation units in China and even in the world are expected to be built at Hengli Petrochemical by the end of 2018. Utilizing French AXENS technology, these units have a residue conversion rate of around 85%; it will be necessary to assess their efficiency, safety, and stability through operational testing!

What has been newly introduced is a suspended-bed reactor, but it is not a hydrogenation unit for petroleum-based residue in the true sense.
Considering the conversion rate and subsequent processing methods, there is always some residue oil that cannot be converted in a fluidized bed; in such cases, coking or propane deasphalting can be used for treatment.
The equipment for Xinqiyuan was designed by us, and I can assure you that it is indeed a fluidized bed. We are currently upgrading it, increasing its capacity from 150,000 tons to 250,000 tons
