After hydrodesulfurization, the hydrogen sulfide released is absorbed by liquid alkali to form sodium hydrosulfide; are there any better methods for controlling the temperature during this absorption process?
Why not use ethanolamine for absorption?
Methyldiethanolamine is generally used to absorb hydrogen sulfide; its temperature can be two to three degrees lower than that of the feed gas, taking into account the hydrocarbon content in the rich liquid. If liquid alkali is used for absorption, will hydrogen sulfide be directly converted into elemental sulfur?
