Currently, in China, most residue hydrogenation processes involve depth refining; as a feedstock for heavy oil catalysis, fixed-bed reactors are generally used. But I’m not sure if there is residue hydrocracking; it seems to exist abroad, but I’m not aware if it’s available in China ? Which company’s technology is generally used? ?
There are a few such facilities in the country already; we are building one as well. To be precise, it should be a hydrotreating unit for residue and wax oil, and there is one already in operation next to us
