If the pump stops operating after a power fluctuation in the gasoline hydrogenation unit, it can be started directly; if it cannot be started, then the backup pump should be used. But what is the emergency procedure in case the recycle hydrogen compressor stops operating? (The reaction system must relieve pressure to control the temperature rise in the reactor bed.) Is the compressor started directly? What should be noted when turning it on?
If the cyclic hydrogen compressor fails, the first step is to restore the compressor to operation by meeting the startup conditions; thereafter, start the feed furnace and then the feed pump to resume operations in the reaction unit. The remaining pumps should be restarted one by one. During this process, it is important to prevent the reaction system from overheating, using methods such as venting hydrogen gas and implementing emergency pressure relief. 2. Prevent high-pressure from leaking into low-pressure; monitor the outlets of each high-pressure pump, as well as the levels of the liquid in the high and low sections and the desulfurization liquid. 3. Prevent flash explosions in the furnace: close the gas valve, open the flue dampers, and inform others to close the valves in front of the furnace! 4. To prevent the product from contaminating the tank, contact the scheduler to change it to a non-conforming item! Feel free to add more for the rest!
Start the compressor by following the normal startup procedure.
