If the hydrogen supply to the natural gas-based hydrogen production plant is interrupted for nearly an hour, with all other conditions remaining unchanged, will this have an impact on the conversion catalyst?
This short-term interruption is not a big problem
Does it refer to adding hydrogen during desulfurization and hydrogenation? The problem should not be serious; the sulfur content in natural gas is already low, and so is the organic sulfur content. It’s fine if hydrogen isn’t added for a short period of time.
Going a step further, I would like to ask whether this hydrogen addition will affect the operation of the conversion furnace? If hydrogen is not supplied, do all the conversion reactions take place in an oxidizing environment? Could part of the conversion catalyst get oxidized?

You have misunderstood the role of hydrogen addition; it is primarily used in the cobalt-molybdenum hydrogenation reactor to convert organic sulfur into H2S, which is then removed through oxidation-zinc desulfurization towers. It has nothing to do with the reducing or oxidizing atmosphere at the top of the conversion tube that I mentioned to you.
It won’t have any impact. If your feed gas already contains a stripping gas, then there’s no need to worry at all; we simply don’t use hydrogen, and the hydrogen compressor isn’t even turned on
