Hello, experts. What could be the reason for the temperature difference at the inlet of the hydrogenation refining reactor heater to exceed 15 degrees? Does anyone know? Excluding the reasons shown by the thermocouple!

The feed goes through a heat exchanger before entering the heating furnace; there is a branch before it reaches the heating furnace, and the temperature difference at these two points of the branch is quite large. In the past, such a large difference did not exist. There's time to take photos.
Consider whether internal coking deflection is possible
This kind of situation has occurred in our company: tar accumulates inside the furnace tubes, affecting the flow of materials.
Are you referring to the large temperature difference across the several branches at the inlet? . It should be due to flow deviation. There might be coking inside the furnace tubes, which causes uneven pressure differences and thus flow deviation; it’s also possible that the installation positions of the branch lines are not identical. Additionally, it’s unclear whether the temperature measurement point is located before or after the control valve – if it’s before the valve, then different valve openings could also be the cause. You can check the flow rate in each branch along with the valve opening to make a judgment
We don’t have control valves here; in the past, the temperature differences weren’t significant.
What we process here is pure fuel for stoves, with a furnace temperature of 550 degrees – is there a high possibility of coking? How did you handle it in the end? Please give me some advice.
