Question: If the reactor inlet temperature is increased, how does the total temperature rise of the reactor change?
If all other conditions remain unchanged and the temperature is increased only slightly, no change will be noticeable!
Will the system pressure decrease?
It depends on whether your reaction is exothermic. If it is an exothermic reaction, increasing the inlet temperature will generally lead to a higher temperature rise
In the case of an exothermic reaction, what happens to the system pressure when the inlet temperature is increased?
Theoretically, the total temperature rise will increase. If the amplitude is small, it’s hardly noticeable
