Pressure drop of new furnace tubes in hydrogen production unit

The conversion furnace of the hydrogen production unit has four rows of tubes in total, and 3 rows of new tubes have been installed. Why was the pressure drop across these 3 rows of new tubes around 100 kPa when measuring it before installing the catalyst, while the pressure drop across the old tubes was below 5 kPa? An endoscopy inspection revealed no debris inside the tubes, and the welds were smooth without any slag.

If this situation occurs when the gas pressure is the same while measuring the venturi resistance drop for the new tube and the old tube, it is necessary to check the diameter of the lower pigtail tube of the new tube as well as the inner diameter of the socket joint; additionally, the manufacturing dimensions of the catalyst support inside the furnace tube also need to be verified.
