Due to overcapacity and shortages of raw materials, the operating rate of aromatization units has remained low in recent years, with many of these units being shut down for extended periods of time. At the same time, due to the upgrading of oil products, there is a strong demand for high-quality oils. In response to this situation, we have developed a new process for modifying naphtha hydrogenation units using aromatization units. After modification, the plant can process high-sulfur, high-chlorine naphtha, with a construction period of 3 months, thereby improving the plant’s efficiency.

Our company also has idle aromatization capacity; we could explore cooperation.
Are there currently many aromatic units that are idle? How did you evaluate this project? Learn* it a bit.
It’s the aromatization of reformated naphtha followed by hydrodesulfurization, right? We’ve completed that process here; it’s been almost 2 years since operations started
