During pre-vulcanization, it is required that the temperature not exceed 230°C until the vulcanizing agent has penetrated the bed layer. So how can one determine that the vulcanizing agent has penetrated the bed layer?
High-pressure gas sampling is used to measure hydrogen sulfide; a level of hydrogen sulfide greater than 1000 PPM indicates penetration of the bed layer
Water is generated during the sulfidation process, and the amount of water does not increase after it penetrates the bed layer. Timed drainage and water volume measurement can also serve as a reference.
When the high water level remains stable, it’s almost like penetration has occurred
1. Temperature; 2. Whether the hydrogen sulfide concentration in the circulating hydrogen rises, with a level above 3000 PPM being acceptable； Specific catalyst manufacturers all provide them
