As of December 16, the hydrogen production volume at the Qingshuiying Hydrogen Production Plant of Guohua Investment’s Ningxia branch, which belongs to the **Energy Group**, has exceeded 1,000 tons. This achievement marks a milestone for China’s demonstration project of producing millions of tons of oil from coal using green hydrogen, providing strong support for the innovative development of the entire hydrogen industry chain as well as the low-carbon transformation of coal-producing regions. The Guoneng Qingshuiying hydrogen production plant is equipped with 16 alkaline electrolyzers, giving it a total production capacity of 16,000 standard cubic meters per hour. It has the capability for stable large-scale production and continuous supply of green hydrogen, thus providing a replicable and scalable industrial model for the low-carbon transformation of the traditional coal chemical industry. Since its commissioning, the Guoneng Qingshuiying Hydrogen Production Plant has set as its core objectives the steady increase in production capacity and the continuous improvement of operational efficiency. At the production management level, a precise scheduling system for green electricity usage is established. By having the marketing department assess the fluctuations in the price of green electricity on any given day, production is scheduled to take place during off-peak times, thereby ensuring 100% utilization of green electricity while significantly reducing the electricity costs during peak periods in the power grid ； Establish a dynamic energy consumption assessment system, refine the control standards for key indicators such as electricity consumption, water consumption, and hydrogen loss rates, and continuously improve efficiency through technical measures like optimizing equipment operating parameters and refining process workflows, thereby further highlighting the economic viability and market competitiveness of green electricity-based hydrogen production.
