What’s the temperature in the hot hydrogen oil zone, in degrees Celsius?
Generally 230°C, mainly to consider catalyst reduction. If the hydrogen sulfide content in the recycled hydrogen is 500 ppm, a higher temperature can be considered; the higher the temperature, the more effectively the oil will boil and evaporate from the pores of the catalyst, and the higher the temperature, the faster and cleaner the purification process will be. If regeneration is carried out, the temperature can be raised further. We use a Ni-Mo catalyst; at 350°C, hot hydrogen is used to carry the oil, and during regeneration it is oxidized back to its original state. Subsequent sulfidation then does not affect its performance. If it’s a temporary shutdown, 230 will work as well; it just takes a bit longer. Hope this helps you
