Is the PSA operation for hydrogen production from methanol set up in a continuous automated manner, or are there any parts that require manual operation on-site? Are manual operations required on the DCS? Adsorption, uniform pressure drop, forward operation, reverse operation. Rinse, increase pressure evenly
Generally, the equipment manufacturer is responsible for installation, commissioning, setting of operating parameters, adjustments, and staff training. The PSA unit requires one operator for control and one inspector for inspections; it has a high degree of automation and operates in fully automatic mode under normal conditions.
The PSA systems have their programs set already; we also use methanol to produce hydrogen, and aside from the adsorption time, nothing else needs to be adjusted
