As the title suggests, in diesel and gasoline hydrogenation units, when there is a high pressure difference in the dry gas desulfurization tower, packing blockage occurs and dry gas contains liquid – can it be treated by acid soaking? P
It is not recommended to soak it directly in acid, as acid treatment may damage the packing or the material of the tower. First, the machine should be shut down for inspection to determine whether the increased pressure difference is caused by a clogged packing.
