According to Sinochem New Network, recently the market supervision bureaus of Shaanxi, Guangdong, and Shanxi provinces jointly issued the \"Work Plan for Cross-Regional Collaboration to Strengthen Quality Management in the Hydrogen Energy Industry Chain\" (hereinafter referred to as the \"Plan\"). The aim is to foster innovation through cross-regional cooperation in order to develop integrated service models for quality infrastructure within the hydrogen energy industry, thereby helping to build a new type of energy system that is green, low-carbon, clean, and efficient. The Plan outlines the cooperation goals and key tasks of the three provinces in the initiative to strengthen the hydrogen energy sector. The Plan emphasizes the need to promote coordination in green hydrogen production and grid connection technologies between Shaanxi and Guangdong, to establish a cross-regional cooperation framework for hydrogen quality testing, to carry out joint efforts to standardize hydrogen storage and transportation equipment, to set up platforms for testing such equipment under extreme conditions, to develop standards for evaluating the reliability of hydrogen fuel cell systems and to conduct related pilot projects. Eleven key tasks, including the promotion of integrated demonstration projects involving wind, solar, and hydrogen energy systems, are also outlined in the Plan. It is also proposed to foster in-depth industry-university-research cooperation through leading enterprises, universities, research institutions, and quality and technology organizations in the three provinces, and to utilize a closed-loop mechanism of \"laboratory simulation—field testing—data feedback\" to jointly overcome the key technical challenges related to quality in the hydrogen energy industry, thereby accelerating innovation in hydrogen energy quality technologies and the translation of such innovations into practical applications.
