Why do the feedstock and products of the catalytic gasoline refining unit (S-Zorb unit) turn green?
Is it because the olefin content is high? That’s what happens in the hydrogenation unit; if the oil turns green, it basically means that the olefins haven’t been saturated
The bed temperature is too low, resulting in incomplete reaction and high levels of organic sulfur. It can easily cause the product to turn yellow.
