On December 23, it was reported from the Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone that recently, Rongcheng Xinneng Group, a company based in this zone (hereinafter referred to as Rongcheng Xinneng Group), made an important breakthrough in the assetization of data owned by its subsidiary, Rongcheng Huyang Power Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Rongcheng Huyang Power). The “Rongcheng Hydrogen Energy Big Data Platform” operated by this company generated a dataset covering the entire hydrogen energy industry chain, including production, storage, transportation, refueling, utilization, research, and equipment manufacturing; this dataset was successfully classified as an asset, marking the first time in China’s hydrogen energy sector that a dataset related to the entire industry chain has been recognized as an asset. Currently, this dataset has completed product registration at the Northern Big Data Trading Center, and Rongcheng Huyang Power has also received certification as a data provider. This initiative marks Rongcheng New Energy Group’s leadership in the industry in implementing an integrated process for the \"recognition on financial statements, registration, and certification\" of data assets, setting a new benchmark for realizing the value of data elements in the hydrogen energy sector. It is understood that the dataset used in this reporting comes directly from the Rongcheng Hydrogen Energy Big Data Platform. As the digital and intelligent hub for the entire hydrogen energy industry chain of Rongcheng New Energy Group, the platform aggregates in real time data from various stages, including hydrogen production, storage and transportation, refueling, vehicle operation, freight management, and equipment maintenance. The platform follows a full-process management approach that covers data collection, storage, processing, governance, and analysis applications. As of December 2025, the platform has accumulated over 21.08 billion high-quality real-time operational data points. Through systematic management and intelligent analysis of these data, the platform not only serves effectively the group’s internal needs in terms of production scheduling optimization, safety monitoring, and carbon asset management, but it also provides data services to external partners in a compliant manner, actively exploring ways to realize the external value of data assets. This successful implementation of including data assets in the financial statements was made possible by the close cooperation between Rongcheng New Energy Group, Tianjin Yihualu Information Technology Co., Ltd., and its parent company, Beijing Yihualu Information Technology Co., Ltd. Beijing Yihualu is a listed company under the China Electronics Technology Group, and their cooperation reflects the deep integration of the professional capabilities of central state-owned enterprises with local industrial innovation efforts. Going forward, the two parties plan to further enhance the exploitation of data value based on the comprehensive industry-chain dataset that has already been recorded. They will explore various initiatives, including the creation of trustworthy data spaces, the development of high-quality datasets for specific applications, as well as the innovation of data products and service models, with the aim of fully unlocking the potential of data assets and fostering the development of a digital ecosystem in the hydrogen energy industry. The successful inclusion of data assets related to the entire hydrogen energy industry chain in the accounts for the first time in the country represents a significant shift in value, transforming corporate data from a mere \"resource\" into an \"asset.\" This development opens up new pathways for unlocking the value of data elements in the hydrogen energy sector. In the future, Rongcheng New Energy Group will continue to adhere to the development philosophy of innovation, collaboration, and sustainability.
