Sulfur recovery technology generally employs the Claus process, and this system has little potential to reduce capital investment costs. Tail gas treatment units can employ various processes, resulting in significant differences in investment costs. 1. Scott process. Largest investment; advantage: no secondary pollution, emissions as low as below 200mg/m3 ； 2. Alkali washing process. Minimum investment. Disadvantage: generation of sodium sulfate wastewater ； Emissions less than 50 ； 3. Ammonia-based desulfurization. Moderate investment. Disadvantages: ammonia escapes and sulfuric acid is generated; emissions are less than 50. 4. Locat process: moderate investment. Disadvantages: the quality of sulfur products is not high; emissions are less than 50. 5. Magnesium method: low investment. Disadvantages: magnesium sulfate wastewater is generated ； Emissions less than 50 ；
