It is impossible to match the furnace drying curve exactly during drying, especially in the low-temperature stage. It is ideal if the pilot light device provided by the burner supplier has the function of drying out the furnace in the low-temperature stage; otherwise, once the main burner is activated, the temperature may skip the low-temperature stage and go straight to the second constant-temperature stage.
During the first heating cycle of sulfur, the heating curve must be provided by the manufacturer of the furnace lining. Generally, there are constant temperature stages at 110°C, 350°C, 550°C, and 850°C. The low-temperature stage of heating is relatively difficult to control. At a constant temperature of 110°C, it is possible to avoid turning on the furnace and use the hot air coming from the fan; if an air preheater is available, it can be utilized; In the constant-temperature section at 350°C, it is possible to make use of the burner’s pilot light; some units are equipped with specialized heating nozzles for low-temperature zones that can reach temperatures up to 500°C℃ ; It’s easier to control at temperatures above 500°C.
Here, we use air heaters to maintain the temperature in the low-temperature section (heated with 1.0 Mpa steam).
