Dear senior teachers and colleagues, regarding the centrifugal blowers of model All1400/1.38 used in sulfuric acid production, abnormal noises occur during normal operation – three to five times a day, lasting for one or two seconds each time. The sound is similar to that of brakes, and there are sudden increases or decreases in current; the pressure at the outlet of the blower drops instantly, and vibration increases. A few days ago, the modules and boards in the frequency converter were replaced (it’s not clear exactly which ones), but the problem persisted, with the abnormal noises continuing. It stopped once. I’m seeking help from all the teachers to answer my questions
In general, this is caused by friction; shut down the machine and check to see if any components have fallen off.
