Regarding the protection of the acid gas outlet during the heating up of a Klaus furnace, can steam be used for protection, and how should its amount be controlled? Thank you all, guys!
During furnace drying, the acidic gas outlet does not require protection.
We provide less protection with air or nitrogen here.
Using steam is just creating unnecessary problems; no protection is needed, and there’s no issue
Baking the furnace is to remove the moisture from the lining. Steam protection? Isn’t that contradictory to using a furnace?
A small amount can be applied using air or nitrogen.
