The branch plant plans to use waste heat steam to reduce the operating pressure of the acidic water stripping unit from 0.26 Mpa to 0.1 Mpa. It’s not clear whether this will be sufficient; the requirements for the purified condensate are that ammonia nitrogen and sulfides levels should be below 40 mg/L. Does anyone who has used a stripping tower at 0.1 Mpa have any advice?

Where does the acidic gas go, and are there any requirements for it? Under this pressure, it is only possible for both the acidic gas and ammonia vapor to be vaporized together; the acidic gas that results contains over 90% water content. The fate of the acidic gas is a major issue
It is sent to a sodium hydrosulfide reactor for absorption treatment; recovery of Novoferro and similar processes are also possible

Do you mean the pressure at the top of the tower by 0.1 MPa? The pressure is a bit low; it can be controlled at 0.12 MPa
