There is a large pressure difference before and after the transformation system; what are the issues involved, and how can operations be adjusted to change this?
There are several possible reasons for changes in system pressure difference; please refer to the following: 1. Catalyst pulverization and aging; 2. Water presence in the separator; 3. Improper setting of the bypass and return flow rates; 4. Scaling, blockage, or mechanical failures in valves and pipes; 5. Venting or leakage in the subsequent systems; 6. Excessive amount of steam added
The reason for the large pressure difference lies in the converter itself. There are many influencing factors, which need to be considered comprehensively. For example: 1) Large gas volume and fast flow rate ; 2) Large number of catalysts loaded, small cross-sectional area ; 3) Catalyst pulverization, high flow rate.
I believe there are the following possible reasons for changes in system pressure difference: 1. Catalyst pulverization and aging; 2. Water presence in the separator; 3. Improper settings for bypass and return flow rates; 4. Scaling, blockage, or mechanical failures in valves and pipes; 5. Venting or leakage in downstream systems; 6. Excessive amount of steam added; 7. Damaged or detached valve cores in the outlet valves. 8. There are foreign objects in the outlet pipe. However: the most reliable approach is to measure the pressure drop in segments, determine which device or pipe section is responsible, and then take appropriate action.
