I would like to ask if there are any examples of railway loading and unloading platforms for methanol, as we would like to go and take a look
The railway loading and unloading platforms for methanol are not very different from those for gasoline. Methanol has been quite popular recently; in fact, there was not much external distribution of it after it was produced initially

We used to go to Golmud for inspections; there was a Zhonghao methanolization plant there, which used large flexible hoses for transferring methanol. Our company, on the other hand, used smaller flexible hoses for this purpose. These hoses are basically similar to those used in railway loading platforms for transporting gasoline and diesel
Although methanol is somewhat toxic, in terms of fire hazard it is classified as Class A B, the same as gasoline; therefore, the guidelines for gasoline can be applied to it as well. At most, the detection and protection measures against toxic liquid leaks can be appropriately enhanced.
