I don’t know how equipment and staff in a newly established plant should get started with their work

I graduated from university 12 years ago and have been working in equipment maintenance since then; I started working in equipment management at the end of 2015. This year, I was assigned to a new expansion project under our group company. As I lack experience in construction projects, I would be extremely grateful if those with more experience could advise me on how to carry out equipment-related work. Thank you very much.

Starting from the selection and procurement of equipment, a registration ledger should be kept for the equipment that arrives. The safety data sheets for each device should be archived, preferably in electronic form. A detailed record for each device.

The selection of equipment is based on meeting production requirements. If it is equipment for a chemical plant, it must be determined through calculations.
