The sealing cover for loading oil in railway tank cars is a rubber cover that lacks elasticity; as a result, it does not fit well with the railway tank cars, which leads to oil and gas leakage and prevents them from reaching the oil and gas recovery system. I was wondering if anyone knows of a cover with better sealing properties.

There are mainly two types of sealing caps for trains: one is a flat cap, and the other is a conical cap. Flat caps result from poor sealing due to issues with train alignment and the elasticity of the sealing cap, while conical caps are caused by a poor verticality of the dip pipe, leading to sealing gaps. For the first case, it is best to improve the alignment precision, and secondly, to increase the positive pressure on the sealing cover. The solutions for conical caps are more or less the same.
