Dear colleagues: We have 6 spherical tanks for storing 3,000 m3 of liquefied gas as raw material. How should we determine the size and number of unloading compressors, as well as the number of loading arms required? How do we make such calculations? Thank you
The flow rate of the unloading compressor depends mainly on the amount of material that needs to be unloaded, and it has little to do with the number or specifications of the spherical tanks. The number of flexibles and the compressor flow rate that need to be calculated are both determined based on the annual unloading volume; therefore, you need to determine this value as soon as possible.
