Dear experts, I am currently designing a fuel depot for ethanol-blended gasoline. In this depot, 92-octane and 95-octane gasoline each use one pump connected to 8 transfer nozzles. Does the ethanol also require one pump connected to 8 transfer nozzles, or are 8 pumps needed along with 8 transfer nozzles? Please provide an answer. Thank you!
It depends on the specific process; as long as it can serve a mixing function, that’s enough
One pump can be installed at the same time; just choose a larger one – there’s no need for so many pumps
Question 1: Are 92 and 95# ethanol-blended gasoline loaded together? Question 2: Is ethanol blending done online or by mixing it into the vehicle? If it is done online, there is no need for many ethanol pumps; the oil can be fed into the pipeline in proportion ahead of the mixer. If mixing is to take place inside the vehicle, a flexible hose and a pump must be provided; otherwise, there will be issues with inaccurate measurement or improper mixing ratios.
