This image was borrowed from a friend; the reactor we use is similar to this one, except that our sampling port is welded to the reactor wall. The reaction temperature of the liquid material in the reactor is around 80 degrees; it has a certain viscosity, and exposure to air over time causes it to form a crust and solidify. Therefore, the entire reaction process takes place under a vacuum in a sealed environment. The problem is as follows: Over time, gelation occurs at the sampling port. Given its specific location, a gel layer forms inside the vessel where the sampling port is welded to the vessel wall, which prevents material from being extracted from the sampling port. The gelation phenomenon in the sampling tube is, on the other hand, slightly less severe. I’m not sure if there are any sampling instruments on the market that can solve this problem. Or whether an online closed sampling device can solve this problem; thank you all! ! !
The production process takes place under vacuum; to take samples, the vacuum must be broken, and nitrogen is used to maintain a positive pressure so that sampling can proceed.
Breaking the vacuum in the device every time a sample is taken also affects production; let’s use a different sampler
