Generally, valves are subjected to a pressure test before leaving the factory, and another pressure test is carried out before they are installed on-site. But why don’t imported valves need to undergo another pressure test on-site? Is there any evidence for this?
Imported valves are also valves; they are often used in critical process stages where high temperatures, high pressures, and special materials are involved. Who would dare to use them without conducting pressure tests? Moreover, there are also counterfeit products available abroad as well as those manufactured under contract.
Those who have witnessed the pressure testing at the factory one by one need not conduct on-site pressure testing
I would like to ask: GB20801, 50235, and SH3501 specify different requirements regarding the pressure testing ratios for valves on-site. Which standard do you follow in your operations?

Imported valves must also undergo pressure resistance tests as well as internal and external leakage tests during installation, as required by the construction specifications.
No credentials. Most imported valve technologies are also of domestic origin; I used to specifically inspect valves for foreign engineers stationed at factories. Imported valves are tested at each stage of the manufacturing process, whereas domestically produced valves are assembled carelessly without any inspections; they are released for use as long as the sealing surfaces of the valve discs do not leak. After a few switches, it basically starts leaking.
