Factory warehouse management

I have a question for everyone: in manufacturing companies, how is management handled for the equipment, spare parts, and auxiliary materials that are purchased? Is there a dedicated receiving department, or are these items sent directly to the departments that need them? The problem I’ve encountered is the lack of a unified receiving department; for each delivery, it’s necessary to ask who is responsible, and then inform the relevant department to unload and take receipt of the goods. This process is rather chaotic. I would like to know about everyone’s management processes or systems, covering everything from goods arriving at the factory, through receiving, inventory management, to the process of picking up items
Go directly to the department that has the need; each department has a warehouse, and there is someone in charge of overseeing those warehouses
