Installation of the floating pad column seal

I would like to ask everyone: must the sealing of the floating pad columns be installed only after the floating pad rises? Aren’t there limit bolts on the column? It should be possible to install it before floating.
Sealing of the floating pad columns? Does \"floating pad column\" mean leg? It is installed on a floating pad, without any legs for sealing.
The column seal is located on top of the floating disc; now I understand why. Although there are limit bolts, the light-component mixture gas on the oil surface during operation might force the column seal to fail.
What does column sealing mean? ? ? ? ? :)
