Some questions regarding the exhaust gas from the tank farm vent valves being sent to the RTO unit

The company’s tank area stores various types of flammable substances. Due to environmental regulations, the outlets of the vent valves on all tanks in the tank farm are connected together and sent to the RTO unit. The safety measures currently in place by the company include: 1. Installing a flanged wire mesh flame arrester at the main pipe outlet of the breather valves on all tanks in the tank farm. Is such an installation reasonable?
In my personal opinion, first of all, the exhaust gases from different media should be collected in a single main pipe, as different materials may pose risks in different environments. 2. Are the vent valves of each tank installed in combination with flame arresters, rather than a flame arrester being added to the return air main? This approach takes into account only the impact of external factors on the tank area, without considering the risks between the tanks within that area.
Now, many breathing valves come as complete sets with flame arrestors on the exhalation side! Thank you!
