I’d like to mention one point: the local environmental protection standards in Shandong Province have been lowered. The relevant limits are as follows: emission limit for total non-methane hydrocarbons (mass concentration): ≤60 mg/m³; emission limit for benzene (mass concentration): ≤2 mg/m³; emission limit for toluene (mass concentration): ≤5 mg/m³; emission limit for xylene (mass concentration): ≤8 mg/m³. At present, simply using condensation + adsorption methods in China is not sufficient to meet these emission standards, and even if it is possible to do so, it can only be achieved for a short period of time. In some enterprises, the combination of condensation + adsorption + combustion presents certain risks as well as issues related to required safety distances. Is there a better way to handle this? Are there similar problems in other provinces and cities as well?
