Traditional methods for cleaning tanks and reactors involve either manual operation or the automatic filling and draining of cleaning solutions. Both approaches have significant drawbacks: they fail to clean the tank surfaces thoroughly, result in low cleaning efficiency, lead to waste of cleaning agents, and do not ensure safety for personnel.
