Whether it’s a veteran driver with 10 years of experience or a new driver who has just gotten their license, the principle is the same. The newly hired workers have no experience at all. Although it’s just a few days of training, the management can feel at ease, after all, it involves chemical production facilities. II. The second key factor is money: some organizations run out of funds as soon as they start installing equipment; they manage to purchase the equipment by scraping together funds, but then lack the money for installation ； It was difficult to get a loan to build the facility, and there’s no money left to buy raw materials ； They borrowed some materials here and there to buy some raw materials, but after just a few days those materials ran out and production had to stop again. It can only be operated in bursts like this; everyone understands that starting and stopping causes the most damage to the equipment. This will definitely lead to the following problems: 1. Due to a lack of money, equipment has to be purchased and maintained at the cheapest possible cost. The design is irregular and the equipment is not standard. It’s only natural that after starting work, something will need fixing here or there. In other words, as people usually say, it’s cheap to buy but expensive to use. 2. No facility can be perfect; even those built by CNPC and Sinopec need to be shut down for repairs after operating for a while. There was no money to begin with, so how could the repairs and improvements be carried out? 3. How to cope with market changes without money? The Chinese market is a free-market economy with significant fluctuations. There’s no money to start with; how to cope in case of market fluctuations? We can only stop production and sell the equipment. 4. How to cope with **increasingly high demands when there is no money?** Now everyone feels that environmental regulations are becoming increasingly strict, and the pressure related to safety is also growing. Today, if something here doesn’t meet environmental standards, it needs to be corrected; tomorrow, if there are safety issues somewhere else, those also need to be addressed. There’s no money to begin with, so how can there be any money to meet the increasingly strict **requirements**? Therefore, before constructing the facility, it is essential to consider the financial situation and set aside additional funds. III. The third element is opportunity – this also includes two aspects: opportunity refers to chances, while fate refers to connections. Let’s talk about opportunities first: some organizations and local authorities **refuse to approve such projects in order to protect their own positions; it doesn’t matter how much money you have in such cases. Additionally, there may be a lack of raw materials locally, or the areas where these materials are available are remote, making it difficult to sell the base oils. The technology for producing diesel is not yet mature, and there is no support for such efforts – so there are no opportunities. What is known as fate means that, for example, pleasant cooperation among shareholders is a prerequisite for a factory’s success. There are open and secret struggles among the shareholders. No company can survive. It requires a fate. Additionally, some organizations failed to find a mature technology and were deceived by videos promoting the transfer of technology online. This is also called no fate. Additionally, some people go around to investigate and talk to many people; in the end, they end up being deceived by those who are good at talking but lack technical skills. Although they do come into contact with people who are skilled technically, such people usually aren’t good at speaking eloquently. As a result, the devices built don’t function properly – this is what’s meant by having the right conditions but not the right fate. IV. The three elements need to work together in coordination. To build a device, at least the first two elements are required; of course, having all three is even better. If you only need one element, I advise you not to spend this money. The three key elements complement and support each other. Lacking one element can still be compensated for, but lacking two makes it much harder. For example, if you have a group of skilled workers and the necessary funds, and in case the technology isn’t mature enough, it can be discarded.
