According to GB50160-2008(2018) – \"Code for Fire Protection Design of Petrochemical Enterprises\", section 7.2.14 states that when air may be present inside containers holding flammable liquids, the inlet pipe should be connected to the lower part of the container; If access from above is necessary, it should be extended to a distance of 200 mm from the bottom of the container. At one filling station, the material that was filled was a flammable liquid, but it had a relatively high ignition point and was not considered an extremely flammable liquid. It was found that neither when filling tank trucks nor when filling packaging drums was the filling tube inserted 200 mm from the bottom of the container. So I reminded the staff that it should be corrected. But the filling staff asked, when you go to the gas station to fill up, is the fuel nozzle inserted all the way to the bottom of the tank? I was completely speechless all of a sudden: Was what the L-filling staff said correct? Why?

During use, the car’s fuel tank is in a sealed state, so the air concentration inside it is very low, making it difficult for an explosive mixture to form. 2. Tank trucks have large interiors, where explosive gas mixtures may form in certain areas. The above are my personal opinions
The inlet pipe is inserted all the way in order to prevent static electricity from being generated during the flow of liquid; if this static electricity is discharged in a timely manner, safety is greatly improved. The presence of air makes it easy for mixed ** to form.
