Fire separation distance issue

Hello, everyone! Can the distance between Class B warehouses and Class B factories be reduced by constructing fire walls and fire-resistant roofs? Tables 3.4.1 and 3.5.2 in the building codes do not specify whether the distance between Class B factories and Class B warehouses can be reduced! I wonder how the experts understand this! Thank you!
Anything not mentioned cannot be reduced; strictly follow the table.

The building code provisions are very strict, accompanied by detailed explanations and interpretations; in other words, anything that is not specifically addressed as adjustable in the codes must not be violated. Most of these specifications are mandatory provisions

But in my personal understanding, \"fire separation distance\" originally refers to the safety distance between adjacent areas such that a fire in one of them (under normal conditions) will not affect the other” ； Therefore, according to Table 3.4.1 and Table 3.5.2 in the building codes, firewalls can be installed between warehouses as well as between factory buildings, which allows for reducing the required spacing ； That indicates that the fire risk is roughly equivalent, so I still believe it should be possible to reduce the distance between the warehouse and the factory building by constructing firewalls (that is, meeting the requirement to reduce the specified fire separation distance). -- All the factory buildings and warehouses mentioned here are of Class B, with a fire resistance rating of Level 2.
There are mandatory standards; there’s no need to add unnecessary elements. Do only what is required – if what is done does not comply with the standards, it’s pointless and a waste of time and resources
