The waste acid concentration unit, the maturation tank, and the finished acid tank are all lacking cooling devices. In summer, it is very difficult to keep the temperature of the finished product at below 50°C, which affects its reuse by end-users. There are three finished acid tanks with a capacity of 600 liters each; two of them are made of fiberglass, and one is made of cement. Previously, water was sprayed on the top of the fiberglass storage tank to cool it down, but it was ineffective. I want to apply cooling gel on the fiberglass and concrete storage tanks to prevent them from overheating due to the sun. I was wondering if any of you have used a similar method? How effective is it? (A small graphite heat exchanger was reused for forced external circulation cooling, but the effect was not good; perhaps the heat exchanger was too small.)

Thank you! The graphite block cooler currently in use is an old secondary steam preheater that relies on forced external circulation cooling, which is almost ineffective. After thinking for a while, it’s likely that there’s a problem with the guide strips inside the heat exchanger, causing a short circuit in the cooling water.
It might not be necessary for this; you can just feel around to find out. If the heat exchanger is indeed too small, then just add another one
