How often should process operation records be kept

For installations involving two key points and one major aspect, on-site inspections are carried out every hour. Now the question arises: how should the operation records of the DCS be defined? Does it count as an “on-site inspection”? Do I need to record every hour? Are there any standards? I hope the experts here can give me some advice!
DCS operation records can be continuously recorded in real time, provided there is sufficient storage space. As for inspections, just carry them out at the specified intervals
I work at BASF; readings are taken on-site every hour. There is no fixed interval for taking readings in the control room, but this does not count as an on-site inspection; it is possible to choose to take remote readings every 2–3 hours. Both types of exceedance records are retained for 5 years to meet the system requirements.
As required by a large state-owned enterprise, DCS records are generally taken every 2 hours, with on-site instrument verification; it is required that at least one verification be carried out every 6 hours per shift (12 hours).
