As of April 23, Dushanzi Petrochemical Company has firmly embraced the management philosophy that \"all costs can be controlled,\" and has carried out systematic efforts to standardize the use of various additives and reduce consumption. The additive system used in the high-density production unit of Dushanzi Petrochemical’s Tarim Petrochemical branch, based on the new formulation, has helped reduce costs by 2.6 million yuan since February. 　　The Gaomi plant of Sinopec uses a limited variety of \"three types of additives\", but in large quantities, and the unit price of these additives is high. Among all the units at the Tarim Petrochemical Branch, the cost associated with the use of these \"three types of agents\" accounts for the highest proportion, indicating great potential for improving quality and efficiency. The Tarim Petrochemical Branch keeps pace with the company’s efforts to improve quality and efficiency, and, in light of the production conditions at the high-density plant, it undertakes work to optimize the formulations of additives. 　　Changes in the additive formulations for polyethylene products can affect their quality; in mild cases, this may lead to complaints from downstream customers, while in severe cases, it can result in claims for compensation. Such situations can have a negative impact on the company’s products and reputation, which is why care must be taken when optimizing these additive formulations. To this end, the Science and Technology Information Department and the Polyolefin Production Department of Tarim Petrochemical Branch conducted research, and with the support of the branch’s research institute, formulated a formula optimization test plan. 　　In the first half of 2023, once the experimental plan for optimizing the additive formula was finalized, the Science and Technology Information Department promptly organized the Polyolefin Production Department to develop a trial implementation plan and carry out staff training. To achieve the goal, they monitored key indicators throughout the production process and collected product data for comparison, ultimately determining the optimal formula. After passing various tests, the trial-produced products are put into use in the downstream market. 　　It is understood that after testing the formula, qualified products were produced; downstream customers did not provide any negative feedback, and all factory output parameters met the required standards. After applying the new formula, it reduced production costs while easing the workload on employees.
