According to Sinochem New Network, on November 11, Yangzi Petrochemical and Yangba Company jointly held a process safety training session aimed at enhancing the ability of technical experts to manage process safety risks. As part of a four-year collaborative training program between the two parties, this training session continues to adhere to a \"practical and professional\" approach, with senior experts from BASF’s headquarters invited to give lectures. The course is closely aligned with the actual production processes in petrochemical enterprises, focusing on principles of process safety, safety, environmental protection, and health management, risk assessment throughout the project lifecycle, control of exothermic reactions, management of interlock changes, as well as practical skills related to blind flanges and risk analysis. It also incorporates core HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Analysis) teaching methods; through the review of accident cases and interactive discussions, it helps participants master techniques for process safety analysis and improve their ability to identify potential hazards and respond to emergencies. Since the partnership began in 2022, this training program has reached over 100 key technical personnel from both companies, establishing a platform for technical exchanges between them while also facilitating the integration of BASF’s advanced safety management practices with the actual production processes at Yangzi Petrochemical. The participants in this session were all key personnel in critical roles such as production technology, equipment management, and safety and environmental protection. Through systematic training, their awareness of \"controlling risks at the source and implementing strict management during processes\" was strengthened, and their professional skills in HAZOP analysis and risk assessment in complex operating conditions were significantly improved. Next, the two parties will continue to deepen their cooperation by carrying out regular, targeted training on work safety. By leveraging \"technology to enhance safety,\" they aim to provide solid technical and human resources support for the safe, stable, and high-quality development of enterprises.
