As the title suggests, coal chemical plants are equipped with LNG storage tanks. Is it necessary to install low-temperature flares for the gases emitted from these tanks? Thank you
There are LNG storage tanks, but their volume is not very large; it is estimated to be less than 10,000–20,000 cubic meters. Judging from the flares used by various companies at present, the gas is generally sent to elevated flares, so there is no need for low-temperature flares.
Low-temperature flares and elevated flares are not contradictory; elevated flares can also handle low-temperature gases
Whether to install a separate low-temperature flare depends on your medium and existing flares, or it should be determined based on the material used
The coal chemical plant is equipped with a main gas flare, an acidic gas flare, and an ammonia flare. There is an LNG storage tank with a capacity of DN5000 cubic meters in the plant.

The flare is primarily used to discharge the contents of a tank during accident situations or during tank cleaning and maintenance operations; in our case, the discharge is done to an on-ground flare.
