It is reported that this drill simulated a scenario in which a fire broke out in the laboratory due to an unexpected fire in the carbon-sulfur analyzer located in the laboratory’s instrument room. As the emergency arose, the workers on site promptly informed the emergency response team. Upon being informed of the situation, Ni Xiaoguang, the chairman of Fanhua Chemical and the overall commander of the operation, immediately activated the emergency plan, and thus a tense yet organized emergency rescue operation was launched. During the drill, the various emergency response teams had clear roles and worked together in coordination. The chief commander is fully responsible for key tasks such as the coordination of emergency rescue operations, the allocation of resources, and the issuance of instructions, to ensure that the entire drill proceeds in an orderly manner. The deputy commander, the emergency response team leader, and others also fulfilled their respective roles, actively carrying out their corresponding responsibilities. The rescue team showed bravery; one group used fire extinguishers to put out the fire, while another group was responsible for installing fire suppression pipes and carrying out firefighting efforts. In the early stages of the fire, they skillfully used fire extinguishers, following the steps of \"shake, aim, pull, and press\" to try to control the flames. However, when the fire grew stronger, they quickly changed their strategy and used fire hoses to continue putting out the fire. The evacuation team is responsible for using loudspeakers to guide the personnel on site to evacuate safely and in an orderly manner to designated locations, as well as for counting the number of people and maintaining security at the site. One side of the communication team is responsible for calling the police, while the other guides the fire trucks, ensuring timely and accurate information transmission as well as maintaining good communication with the outside world. The medical rescue team is on standby at all times, ready to provide assistance and transport to the injured. In addition, the drill includes dedicated personnel responsible for generating simulated smoke, taking photographs, and coordinating the efforts of the fire fighting team, the communication team, the medical rescue team, and the evacuation and security team. During the drill, employees actively participated in the training on using fire extinguishers and carried out hands-on practice, thereby gaining a better understanding of how to use these firefighting equipment. When the fire could not be brought under control effectively, the chief commander promptly ordered all employees to evacuate urgently. Under the guidance of the evacuation team, everyone evacuated to the designated location quickly and safely, demonstrating excellent emergency response capabilities and a strong spirit of teamwork.
