According to Sinochem New Network, in 2025, Yangzi Petrochemical made efforts to shift its logistics management approach from \"local optimization\" to \"global optimization\", resulting in cost savings and efficiency improvements worth over 10 million yuan. The Planning Department of Yangzi Petrochemical implements strict control in accordance with the principles of \"reducing unit prices, controlling total amounts, setting limits on indicators, and managing targets\", and reduces overall expenditures by strengthening contract negotiations. At the stage of crude oil arrival at the plant, the company continues to enhance its capacity to handle large ships, by implementing strategies for adjusting the types of goods handled at the dock, adopting a \"zero-wait\" docking and unloading system, and scheduling loading and unloading tasks at different times to avoid congestion. By the end of November 2025, the company had carried out 23 ship unloading operations, handling a total volume of 630,000 tons, thereby saving over 10 million yuan in costs associated with multi-leg water transportation. At the same time, the company pursued projects to reduce costs associated with the transportation of demineralized water at the ethylene oxide loading station, achieving a total cost reduction of 177,000 yuan. By aligning its services closely with the needs of the refined oil export business, and through multiple rounds of negotiations, it managed to cut the costs related to renting tanks for diesel, jet fuel, and gasoline by over 13 million yuan. At the stage of plastic product production, the company plans to fully establish and put into use an intelligent plastic warehouse by 2025; it will promptly organize its product storage facilities, ceasing to use rental warehouses such as those located by the river, which cover an area of over 20,000 square meters; the warehousing process for polypropylene products in Warehouse No. 2 of the plastic factory will be changed to direct delivery, thereby reducing unnecessary handling tasks; internal and external storage resources will be allocated efficiently, with some warehouses being converted into dedicated warehouses for finished products made from lithium battery separators. Through the above measures, the total cost associated with the transportation of plastic products and the fees for storing plastics are expected to be reduced by approximately 18 million yuan by 2025. In addition, the company has worked to optimize the storage and transportation facilities in collaboration with enterprises within the industrial park as well as joint venture companies. It signed a service contract for such storage and transportation facilities with Yangzi Ineos, thereby increasing the volume of acetic acid shipped by road in 2025 and generating additional benefits for the company.
