In 2026, the 25th National \"Safety Production Month\" will focus on the importance of safety for everyone and the need for everyone to know how to respond in emergency situations, as well as on identifying and addressing potential risks and hazards. -------------------------------------------------- Recently, the refrigeration upgrade project for the butadiene unit at Huajin Group’s Shuangxing branch was completed; the heated water from the refining process was now officially put into use. 　　It is understood that the water-cooled screw compressors used in the butadiene plant have been in operation for 17 years, and there has long been a problem of energy waste due to overpowered equipment, resulting in high operating costs. This renovation involves targeted measures: lithium bromide refrigeration technology is employed, along with the addition of an absorption chiller that uses waste heat from the 130°C process as the heating source, thereby replacing traditional, high-energy-consuming units and enabling efficient operation with low energy consumption. 　　Once operational, this project is expected to save 2.07 million kWh of electricity per year, reduce annual equipment maintenance costs by 190,000 yuan, and generate savings of 1.334 million yuan throughout the year.
