In the Lind process, the exhaust gas is divided into two streams before entering the exhaust gas washing tower; not all of it goes into this tower. Recently, the volume of exhaust gas fed to the exhaust gas washing tower has been increased, as has the amount of water used for desalination. Yet, the methanol content at the outlet of the exhaust gas washing tower remains around 120 ppm, failing to decrease. Dear sea friends, what are the targets of your factory? Have the targets been met?
1. Temperature is too high. 2. Water volume is too low. 3. Gas flow rate is too fast
It is recommended to check the differential pressure of the tower to determine whether there are any issues with the distribution of the washing water inside the tower, such as blockages in the distributors or packing. Additionally, it is important to check whether the methanol content in the circulating wastewater entering the tower is too high

It can be analyzed from the following aspects: 1. First, consider what the gas handling capacity of the exhaust gas scrubber is, as well as the design specifications for methanol in the exhaust gas 2. Has there been any change in the methanol content in the exhaust gas entering the exhaust gas scrubber? 3. If the content of imported methanol remains unchanged, consult the design institute to recalculate whether it is possible to reduce the methanol level to the required value.
